Dr. Johnny Corderro was born in the poorest ghetto pf Puerto Rico and raised in the public projects, pulled himself out and landed in the mainland with $200 in his pocket but with BIG dreams. He holds a doctorate, became an opera singer, and author, entrepreneur, and founder of My Dream Academy, an alternative school to serve impoverished urban youth, like he once was. He has dedicated half of his life to serve others and realizes that mental health illnesses are an impediment to success in all aspects of life that can be addressed and improved, so that all people can reach their maximum potential.
