The mission of the Face Your ACE With Grace Project is to bring awareness, advocacy, and education to individuals and communities impacted by Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). It seeks to equip children, families, and neighborhoods with the tools to recognize, understand, and overcome the effects of trauma and toxic stress. Grounded in both science and faith, the project also works to equip the Black church community to become trauma-informed care institutions—serving as safe spaces for healing, restoration, and hope. Through strategic partnerships, public health initiatives, and grassroots engagement, it aims to interrupt cycles of trauma and build resilience. The mission is to transform vulnerable communities into thriving environments where every child has the opportunity to grow, succeed, and live a healthy life. By uniting church, children, and community, the project cultivates lasting change for this generation and the next.
